Cook & Connect is Plant Candy's hands-on cooking and meal prep experience — a group comes together, prepares nourishing food, builds real skills, and leaves with a week of meals they made themselves. Available in three formats to fit any community, resource level, or setting.

What's Included

Format: Hands-on cooking and meal prep session

Three formats, one goal: leaving with real food you made yourself. Every Cook & Connect session is hands-on from start to finish — no watching, no passive note-taking. Plant Candy brings the ingredients, the instruction, and the energy. You bring your team.

Our Service Menu

Cook & Connect: Community

Participants pool and bring their own portioned ingredients based on a shopping list sent in advance. The group cooks together, learns meal prep techniques, and leaves with five prepared dishes for the week.

Supplies - Hybrid sourced by partipants and Plant Candy collectively

Location - Your venue

Cook & Connect: Pantry

Food is already on-site — from a food pantry, donation drive, or community supply. Plant Candy comes to you and builds nourishing meals from what's available. No shopping list required. Ideal for food banks and resource organizations.

Time - 2 hours

Supplies - Uses on-site food

Venue - Your location

Cook & Connect: Corporate

Food is sourced from local farmers markets and small food businesses — curated by Plant Candy. Groups cook at a nearby kitchen demo space or on-site facility, making it a full team-building experience with a community economic impact angle.

Group Size- Teams of 10–30

Time - 2–3 hours

Supplies - Locally sourced

Venue - Kitchen venue or on-site
